PlainBridges collects minimal data. We use privacy-focused analytics (Umami) that does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. We track page views, referral sources, and device types in aggregate form only.

PlainBridges does not set first-party cookies. However, third-party services used on this site may set cookies:

• Journey by Mediavine uses cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Mediavine and its partners may serve ads based on your browsing patterns.

All data displayed on this site comes from the FHWA National Bridge Inventory, a U.S. government public domain dataset. No private or personally identifiable information is stored or displayed.

Editorial Independence

Content on PlainBridges is compiled by PlainBridges: raw data from the FHWA National Bridge Inventory is transformed into readable profiles, validated against the source before publication. PlainBridges is responsible for editorial standards and corrections.

We do not accept payment, sponsorship, or promoted placement from manufacturers, operators, or any transportation/product entity. Our only revenue source is contextual display advertising served by Journey by Mediavine, advertisers do not influence which entities we cover or how we present data, and they do not receive preferential placement.
